Calendar of Events for the weekend of June 6-8.  It is happening in Marietta and Kennesaw.

FRI-SUN JUNE 6-8 – 75 YEARS OF GONE WITH THE WIND – Celebrate this milestone on the Historic Marietta Square with cast members, television and child stars, authors of books and novels relating to Gone With the Wind, plus a Costume Bazaar Ball, movie wardrobe presentation, an exhibition of Civil War-era paintings by a friend of Margaret Mitchell, a live auction of GWTW memorabilia, two live plays, and lots of surprises. SAT JUNE 7 Trash to Treasure Sale sponsored by the Harrison High School Winterguard will be held on June 7th from 8am-3pm at The Cheatham Hill Community Center 3702 Barrett Parkway (just 1/2 mile south of Dallas Highway) You won’t want to miss this great sale where items are priced to SELL!

SAT JUNE 7 – OUTDOOR MOVIE NIGHT – Come enjoy family night watching Disney’s “Frozen” Arrive early (6PM) for entertainment, free and pay-to-play children’s activities, giveaways and outdoor fun. For your comfort, bring a blanket or low-back chairs. Pop-up tents, canopies or beach umbrellas that can obstruct the view of others are not permitted. Concessions will be available for purchase. Movie begins at dark. Swift-Cantrell Park is located at 3140 Old 41 Highway. Parking is available inside the park, and at neighboring Kennesaw Elementary School.
