MON. OCT 28 – DIAPER DAY! – 5pm at Glover Park in Marietta Square. 5th annual Diaper Day to collect diapers for low income families.  The collection of diapers throughout the month of October will be given to C.A.M.P. Help solve this classic who-done-it on stage in the new Marietta High School auditorium, Monday, October 28th through Thursday, October 31st at 7:00 pm or enjoy dinner and the show on Monday, October 28th and Thursday, October 31st beginning at 6:00 pm. THURS. OCT 31 ALLATOONA HIGH SCHOOL FCCLA TRUNK OR TREAT 6-8 pm.  Parents you are invited to bring your kids to Allatoona High School’s Football Stadium Parking lot on Thursday, Oct 31 from 6-8 for a safe trick or treating environment for kids.  Join us for a night of tricks, treats, and fun.

SAT. NOV 2 – RECYCLING DAY – from 9am-3pm at the Acworth Sports Complex.  Think GREEN!   Computer, Electronics and metal will be collected to be recycled.  Bring your old equipment and metal!  Free to drop off most items.  There is a $15 fee for computer monitors and a $20 fee for televisions.  Visit www.acworthparksandrecreation.org for more info and a list of items that will be accepted.

SAT NOV 2 – 1940s Swing Dance sponsored by the Museum of History and Holocaust Education.  The fun begins at 7:00 pm, in the KSU Center! Our special event commemorates the 1940s era with an evening of dancing to the live big band tunes of The Peachtree Jazz Edition’s 18-piece orchestra and vocalist. The program supports Feed the Future, a KSU initiative to assist students in need. Swing dance lessons, 40’s style photo shoot, refreshments and costume contest (1940’s attire).  Admission is FREE with donation of one non-perisable food item to Feed the Future.  Open to the public.  KSU Center, 3333 Busbee Dr., Kennesaw, GA 30144.
