“Fighter” Food Truck Benefit – Helping Terry Hall

terrysaintsBENEFIT TO HELP TERRY HALL,

OWNER OF HAPPY BELLY FOOD TRUCK

Many of you who frequent Dinner at the Depot in Kennesaw on Monday nights or other Food Truck nights throughout Metro Atlanta are familiar with the Happy Belly Food Truck.  You know, the awesome green truck that serves fresh, wholesome foods with great service?  In August, Terry and Dawn Hall, owners of Happy Belly, celebrated the birth of their second child, a son named Henry.  During this celebration, they received devastating news that Terry had cancer.  Terry was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer.  Because he is  a non smoker, it was hard to understand how this could happen to someone so young and so healthy.

Terry is presently undergoing a strong and aggressive chemo regimen.  He is having four treatments, one every three weeks. Simultaneously he has received a special high dosage radiation (SBRT)  three treatments within five days to his femur.

Family, friends, and Happy Belly fans have stepped up asking what they can do to help.  Fellow friend and W.O.W! Food Truck owner, Wendy Cross immediately started planning a food truck rally against cancer.  In conjunction with the Alpharetta Food Truck Alley night, a benefit will be held for Terry.  The “Fighter Food Truck Benefit” will be Thursday, October 24, 2013 from 5-9pm located at 37 Old Roswell Street in Alpharetta.  Monies raised will help offset Terry’s medical expenses.  We want everyone to turn out to show this family their support.  Whether you can donate or not knowing you are loved is an important part of the therapy for cancer treatment.

If you can’t come and wish to donate you may do so at   www.youcaring.com/fightforterry.

Check out the food trucks on the  flyerfoodtruckflyer1.  See if your favorite one is there.  Live entertainment and fun activities for the kids.  Bring your family, friends and neighbors.  Please share this message with everyone.  Cancer is a horrible disease.
