TUES SEPT 24 GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION MAIN STREET PHARMACY – Noon
The staff at Main Street Pharmacy invite the Bright Side readers to their Grand Opening Celebration on  Tuesday, September 24 at Noon.  Refreshments will be served.  The store is located at 3070 N. SAT SEPT 27-29 LEWIS GRIZZARD: IN HIS OWN WORDS –  Actor Bill Oberst, Jr. has stepped into the late Lewis Grizzard’s shoes over 1,000 times in the last decade. Oberst’s portrayal of the Southern writer and humorist is a one-man show authorized by Grizzard’s family, which says it is the closest thing to seeing the late great spokesman of the south onstage again since Grizzard’s death at age 47. SAT SEPT 28, STEP UP FUNDRAISER FOR KAYLA DOSS – 4pm-8pm – Collet Country Farm, 285 Mars Hill Road, Powder Springs, GA. SAT. SEPT 28 – WORLD DAY OF PLAY The Kennesaw Parks & Recreation Department’s second annual observance of the Worldwide Day of Play will take place at SWIFT CANTRELL  park from 9 a.m. to noon. Free activities will include an obstacle course, playground games, relay challenges, inflatables, a rock climbing wall, and much more. Refreshments will be provided (while supplies last).
