SAT. MAY 10 An American Experience – Bluegrass, Banjos and Brass,  5:00 pm on the Marietta Square in Glover Park. Bluegrass and Early American music performed by the Marietta First Baptist choir and orchestra and featuring the well-known Chuck Nation Bluegrass Band. If rain, will be held same day/time at Marietta First Baptist Church, on Church Street, one block north of the downtown Marietta Square.

WED MAY 14 – MARIETTA EDUCATIONAL GARDEN CENTER MEETING – Beginning at 9:30am.  Come and socialize and listen to this month’s program on  ‘Marietta & the 150th Anniversary of the End of the Civil War’.  The speakers are Brian S. Willis, Ph.D Professor at Kennesaw State University & Joe Kirby, Historian & Editor at the Marietta Daily Journal.  The meeting also informs you on what the garden clubs are doing in the Marietta area.
