FRI APR 26 SIP N’ STROLL Marietta Tree Keepers invites you to attend their next Sip n’ Stroll on Friday, April 26 at 5:30 pm. Visitors are welcome to bring their own evening refreshments and MTK will provide water and light snacks.  The event will only be cancelled if it is raining heavy or lightening.  Park at Lewis Park, 475 Campbell Hill St. , Marietta, GA 30060 and sign-in at 22 Hillside Drive where the tour will begin.

FRI , APR 26 “Glover Park Concert Series -Symphony Saturday” The Glover Park Concert Series (8-10pm)featuring Kurt Thomas Band (Party Rock & Country)The concerts are free of charge however a limited number of tables can be reserved — $45 for tables of six and $55 for tables for eight. Tables reservations are taken on a first come basis and may be reserved the first working day of each month. Blankets and lawn chairs only may be set up in the park after 4 p.m. No Personal tables in the park, instead they may be set up on North Park Square after 6:00 p.m. Bring a picnic dinner (beer and wine are permitted) or dine in one of the many fine restaurants located on the square.

SAT APR 27 Marietta Square Artists Market: Where All the Arts Come Alive! The Marietta Square Artists Market is excited to begin its 3rd annual market season, opening April 13th, 2013.  This year, the market will highlight vendors of all the Arts from painting, printmaking, digital art, and sculpture to ceramics, jewelry, installation art, and more!  The Artists Market is a juried, open-air market located on Mill Street between Church Street and the railroad tracks, just across from the Marietta Square Farmers Market.Visit the Marietta Square Artists Market every 2nd and 4th Saturday from April to November, 9:00am to 2:00pm, rain or shine. All fine artists are encouraged to apply! SUN APR 28 3-5 SPRING FESTIVAL Kennesaw United Methodist Church invites our community to bring a picnic blanket, your family, friends and neighbors and join them on the front lawn of the church on Sunday, April 28 for an afternoon of Musical Entertainment, Games, Food and Fun.  Music will be all styles including Choral, Praise/Worship, Traditional Rock Band and Handbells.  The church is located at 1801 Ben King Rd., Kennesaw, 30144.  If it rains we will move inside to the Christian Activities Center at the Church.  This event is FREE and open to everyone.

SUN, APR 28th “Taste of Marietta” (11am-7pm) The entire Square will be closed. We’re expecting 60-70 restaurants and will have Bubba Burger Kid’s Alley and Sports Corner sponsored by Sports Radio 790 the Zone featuring the Atlanta Braves, the Atlanta Hawks, the Atlanta Thrashers and more.
