fourwaystovote

It is important that everyone vote for Zach in order to keep him in the competition.  It is even more important that we purchase his song of the evening from iTunes ($1.29) as each purchase multiplies his votes by ten, if his song makes it in the top 10 of the 200 chart.  There are four ways to vote:  Download the Voice App into a smart phone and vote 10 times.  Vote online at NBC.COM and vote 10 times. Vote on www.facebook.com/NBCTHEVOICE and vote 10 times. Purchase his song of the evening on iTunes.  If the song makes it to top 10 on the top 200 chart, his votes get multiplied by 10.  Only one download per Eligible Song is counted.  You can use all four ways if you have a separate email from your Facebook account.

You and your family are invited to join us as we support ZACH SEABAUGH on THE VOICE, MONDAY NIGHT, DEC. 7.  Two viewing sites are available – one in the theater at KMHS and the other at The Strand on the Square.  Zach has performed on the stage at both of these sites many times.   The VIEWING PARTIES starting at 7:00 pm.  Come mingle and network. The show will be broadcast on the large movie screens at each location – it starts at 8:00 pm. Volunteers Needed for Lake Acworth Cleanup

Volunteers Needed for Lake Acworth Cleanup

On Sunday, Surfrider – in conjunction with its Georgia chapter – is targeting Lake Acworth for a tidying – one of 12 coastal areas nationwide selected this year – with volunteers checking-in beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the Gazebo in Cauble Park.HAMPTON3

The Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project is an eight year-old national partnership between the Surfrider Foundation and Barefoot Wine. Every year a dozen beaches are targeted nationwide for a major, full day clean-up (three weeks ago in Huntington Beach, California, we had nearly 250 volunteers.  Since its inception, the Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project has cleaned more than 135 beaches, engaged more than 12,000 community volunteers, and removed more than 14 tons of trash.

logoLast weekend we had more than 60 community volunteers who collected 223 pounds of garbage, and 25.5 pounds of recycling, from Hampton’s North Beach. (That’s in addition to 15 tons of debris picked-up from American beaches since the project started.)  We’re hoping for a great turnout in Acworth and to, potentially, eclipse Hampton’s results for pounds of garbage collecte
