CALIFORNIA DREAMING IS COLLECTING TOYS

reeceGrab your family, friends, neighbors, pick up a toy for someone between the ages of newborn and 15 years, and jet over to California Dreaming 745 Chastain Rd near I-75. Free photos with Santa, free face painting, live music. California Dreaming is partnered with the Kennesaw Police and the Jerry Worthan Memorial Christmas Fund – so  if you bring a gift you receive a card for a free appetizer or dessert. Starts at 6:00 pm – ends at 9:00 pm. Call (770) 428-2055 for reservations.

East Cobb Baseball Academy Gives Toys Marine Toys for Tots Foundation

East Cobb Baseball Academy President Chance Beam announced Sunday morning that the Academy has donated over 100 new toys to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.  “Teaching our young athletes important life lessons is one of the cornerstones of our program, and there’s no life lesson more important than the act of giving to those in need,” said Beam.  “We’re very proud of the broad participation we had from our athletes this year, and exceeding our goals for toys contributed.”

JERRY WORTHAN MEMORIAL CHRISTMAS FUND

The public is invited to bring a toy to California Dreaming on Monday, December 17 6-9 pm. All toys will benefit the children of the Jerry Worthan Memorial Christmas Fund. Come visit Santa, free photos, and if you bring a toy you receive a ticket for a free appetizer or dessert. California Dreaming is located on Chastain Rd at I-75. Toys can be dropped off all weekend.  Presents needed for newborn through 15 yrs of age
