The Youth Museum’s Fundraiser – Sept 6.

AUCTION ItemsThe Youth Museum is holding its Twelfth Annual BBQ and Silent Auction on Saturday, September 6, 2014, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, celebrating over 44 years of serving students in Cobb County and the metro area. Delicious BBQ by Sam Huff’s BBQ-1, live music by Old Mill Road Band, tours of the Museum’s current exhibit, “America’s Pathways to Independence” and a fabulous Silent Auction will be the highlights of the evening. Sam Heaton, Director of Cobb County Department of Public Safety, will be the emcee.

Guest Speaker: Adam McDaniel, a former professional baseball player for the San Diego Padres. McDaniel will share about the great journey that his baseball career provided. McDaniel graduated cum laude from UGA and also graduated at McEachern High School where he played baseball, football and basketball. He held a very successful academic and baseball career at both schools. Whether you are a parent, baseball player, or student… You don’t want to miss the opportunity to meet this dynamic, young professional and learn some great insight into the game we all love… there is a message for all.
