SAT OCT 17 – TASTE OF ACWORTH – 150 booths from local restaurants and businesses demonstrate what they do best.  There will be a local entertainment stage, complete with a dog show, a High School Team Cooking Challenge, children’s activities, lots of food, and more! Free Admission, $1-$4 food samples. 10am-6pm

SAT OCT 17 – MARIETTA ZOMBIE WALK – The gathering of Zombies begins at 5pm with the walk beginning promptly at 6pm. Proceeds and collected food items go directly to MUST Ministries. For more information, visit www.MariettaZombieWalk.org.

SUN OCT 18 – ANNUAL YOUTH TRACK OR TREAT RUN – Benefitting the YWCA of Northwest GA’s “Sheltering Hands” Domestic Violence Shelter. Register online at www.trackortreat.com. SUN OCT 25 – ACWORTH HISTORY & SOUTHERN CHARM – A tour of Acworth with wine and cheese. Begins at 4pm at 4671 Collins Ave, Acworth. Tour a victorian home, Cedar Plantation Event Venue, Acworth Caboose, Beach house and more. $40 per person, proceeds benefit Brookwood Christian School’s building fund. MON OCT 26 – CANDIDATE FORUM – The Kennesaw Business Association will host a Candidates Forum for all candidates running in the City of Kennesaw at the Ben Robertson Community Center. Doors open at 6. Moderator: Joe Kirby, Editor of the Marietta Daily Journal

Acworth, Kennesaw and Marietta have a host of activities to celebrate fall including trunk or treats, festivals and a Pumpkin Patch.

Pumpkins, Gourds, and More!

Christ Episcopal Church Pumpkin PatchChrist Episcopal Church is hosting a Pumpkin Patch starting now through October 31. Our pumpkins come from the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico and are of great quality. 100’s of pumpkins and gourds for decorations and baking!  After visiting the patch take your favorite fall pictures at our Photo Op or come to one of our Storytelling sessions!

On October 31st our 1st annual Fall Festival (1-4)  and Trunk or Treat Night (4-6)! featuring children activities, storytelling, music and so much more.

SUN OCT 18 FALL FESTIVAL – First Baptist Church Marietta will host their 56th Annual Fall Festival on Sunday, October 18th from 2-4pm at the Family Life Center. Fun for the kids includes inflatables, video game truck, face painting and truck-or-treat. The church is locate at 148 Church Street, Marietta.

SAT OCT 24 Trunk or Treat Due West UMC invites all families to their annual Trunk or Treat event on Saturday October 24th from 5:00-7:30pm in the South Campus parking lot located at 3956 Due West Rd NW, Marietta, 30064. We will have plenty of trunks & candy, inflatables for kids of all ages, a DJ, hayride, and pizza (served from 5-6pm). Dress up in costume for this family fun block party. No scary costumes, please.

SAT OCT 24 – OKTOBERFEST – Saint Catherine of Siena Church will hold its annual festival beginning at 5:30pm. Children’s activities, German polka band, beer garden, food and desserts. 1618 Ben King Road in Kennesaw.

SUN OCT 25 – FALL FESTIVAL – Kennesaw United Methodist church invites everyone for a whole afternoon of fun for the family from 4-6pm.
